My Company.

Here is a quick overview of my organization. I work for a large global company where IT is not our core business. I am part of the Global application development (GAD) group in my comany. This group has gone through lot of changes in the past few years. We have consolidated almost seven different groups of similar size to a single group for Global Application delivery. Most of the applications we develop and maintain are for internal use. Only very few apps are used by our clients. Our vision is to achieve excellence in enterprise application development.

Ours is a very flat organization (less hierarchy). Primarily all members of GAD are either a Project Manager, a BA or an Architect. Most of the development is done with the help of different vendors onshore and offshore.
